Unlike CAKE POS, TouchBistro is an entirely iPad-based POS system, meaning all of its POS software runs on iOS and Apple iPads, so you don’t need to purchase any proprietary hardware. Unlike CAKE, TouchBistro is compatible with multiple popular payment processors, in addition to its in-house payments processing system, TouchBistro Powered by Chase, which is available to U.S. customers. In contrast to Worldpay, Chase’s reviews are largely positive. Chase is well-received because it can process payments while also acting as the acquiring bank.
